Old South and New Beginnings Tour a 6-mile, 2 1/5 - 3 hour leisurely bike tour and is designed for folks who enjoy bike riding but don’t feel the need for speed! This tour is perfect for families and groups of different ages and fitness levels. The tour begins in Inman Park, Atlanta’s  first planned community filled with beautiful Victorian mansions, wide tree-lined streets and lush parks.  Inman Park as a rich history and has had its share of decline, but since its '70s rejuvenation, it has become one of Atlanta's most sought-after neighborhoods for artists AND professionals.

Next we'll visit Little Five Points and grab an ice cream, coffee or cold drink and spend a little time exploring. Once a shopping mecca to a growing Atlanta, Little Five Points is now known for its funky storefronts and interesting people watching. Next on the route is Sweet Auburn, which features the childhood neighborhood, birth home and resting place of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.   Here you'll learn about Atlanta's role in the Civil Rights Movement and visit the grounds of the King Center Non-Violent Social Change. We also introduce our guest to historic Oakland Cemetery and Cabbagetown, a mill town built in the late 1880's that has become one of the most trendy and interesting bohemian neighborhoods of Atlanta.
